The atomic number of iron

(Found here)
still off by 100...I'm sticking with this now to see if the author ever figures out that s/he's goofed up

2401. Does love come from the brain, the heart or elsewhere? Depends. Sometimes it just IS (so I guess that's the heart) and sometimes it takes a long time to recognize the love that's developed (so, head).

2402. Have you ever given a shot? I don't understand the question. I've given a shIt. I have drunk a shot. I don't think I've ever shot anyone.
If not, do you think you could give one to a loved one if you HAD to? oooooh, THAT kind of shot! No I haven't given anyone one, and I'm happy to say that I would probably throw up if I had to. There is something about watching a needle actually go in that makes me really queasy. I'd make a shitty nurse/EMT/phlebotomist.
Do you think you could give one to yourself? I may have to learn to do that someday.

2403. Can you lick your elbow? Now, why would anyone want to do that?
Come on, didja try? Nope.

2404. If I was going to be talking to you for 10 minutes, what would be something really interesting you know a little bit about but would like to know more?? Oh, tell me something about publishing or ancient history.

2405. If today was a holiday, what would it be? Everyone Is Tired and Spring Isn't Here Yet Day.

2406. If you were making a mix tape what would you HAVE to have one it? There would have to be something egregiously stupid on it: Weird Al, or ironic punk love songs, or PDQ Bach.

2407. What do you think of the Sopranos? I don't if I can help it. Mafia stuff doesn't attract me at all.

2408. Can you name three good things about the society you live in? Women, while not treated absolutely equally, at least aren't treated as bad as we used to be. People are generally kind to one another. Aburdity is EVERYwhere.

How about three bad things? White men have ruined so much stuff. Too many people want to shoot each other. Absurdity is EVERYwhere.

2409. Have you ever had a crush on your teacher? There were so few "cute" teachers that this was a pretty rare occurrence. I liked my Human Anatomy teacher--and I'm Facebook friends with him now--but really...they were almost all SO OLD! At least 35!!
How about your boss? Yuck. No. Granted, I haven't worked for all that many men, but of those on the list...nope.

2410. What is the difference between acting like someone in high school and acting like an adult? Quite often, it seems like there is no difference at all. Generally, I guess it's being able to think outside of yourself more than you think you're the center of the universe.

2411. What is the difference between a whopper and a Whopper Jr? Size and a buck-fifty.

2413. Do you like:
Moby? Yawn.
Run DMC? Yeah, they're ok.
the Cure? Not so much.
Shakira? YES!
Blink182? Meh. My son knows E V E R Y thing about them tho. Still.
the Pet Shop Boys? I love these guys so much!
Weezer? zzzzz....
Red Hot Chili Peppers? Flea is absolutely the most entertaining musician ever. Otherwise, meh.
Nick Cave? Good lyrics. Hate his voice.
The Pixies? Yeah, no.
KRS-One? Heh, nope.
The Juice Crew? Literally never heard of them.

2414. Have you ever seen a movie in 3D? I've seen part of one, but honestly, it tends to make me motion sick, so I've never made it all the way through.

2415. How difficult do you think it is for immigrants to come into your country? Depends on their color/ethnicity. Right now, I don't think there are that many people who really WANT to be here, though.
How difficult is it for them to become citizens? In watching a couple of people do this in the last few years, it's a fucking nightmare. How many of these questions can YOU answer without studying??

2416. Do you have what it takes to go live in another country, maybe for years, where you don't speak the language as your first language? Not anymore. Fortunately, I have family in England, so ... I'd be ok-ish.

2418. have you ever died in your dreams? Nope. Isn't there a legend that if you die in your sleep you never wake up?

2419. Do you like
Douglas Adams? Yeah.
Kurt Vonnegut? I adore Vonnegut!
Tom Robbins? Not really.
Philip K Dick? In a purely historical sense, he's interesting. However, his work is really dated.
Orson Scott Card? Yaaaawwwnnnn.

2420. What clothing size are you? Big.
What size do you wish you were? Less-big, but not fussed about it enough to work on it.
Did you know that Marilyn Monroe was a size 12 (and lotsa people think she's HOT)? I would pretty much knock people to the floor if I could suddenly fit back into size 12. I did know she was not skinny, and I actually think she WAS hot.

2421. Does science leave room for faith? It does for me.
Does faith leave room for science? It does for me.

2422. What book should our political leaders read and why? Look, I would like to know that our current leaders could read and understand Dr. Seuss. I'm pretty sure they can't.

2423. Why and under what circumstances are people more likely to buy brand names rather then their generic counterparts? From what I've seen, coffee is a big one. Soda-pop is another. Clothes, for some reason, seem to be a thing too. Me, I shop by price.

2424. What is your favorite glass object? Actual glass? Probably the apple luncheon dishes I have: plates, bowls, serving dishes and bowls.

2425. Do you like to window shop? On vacation, sometimes. Mostly, I don't like shopping, period.

2426. Have you ever loved someone so much it just turned to hate? Not really hate. Disdain, perhaps.

2427. What is arrogance? The presumption that you and your point of view are the only valid things in the universe.

2428. Are you more liberal or conservative? Liberal.

2429. When there is a presidential election in the USA why do we never hear anything about the third party candidates? Do you even know who they were last time? Well, yes, in this last election, I certainly know at least a couple of them.

2430. Are you more likely to buy one really nice expensive outfit or a couple of cheap outfits? A couple of cheapies of course!

2432. Do you believe that people have a responsibility to be:
good to other people? Yes.
good at their job? People should be the best they can be at their jobs.
helpful to the earth (not litter, recycle)? Yes.
aware consumers (not buy animal tested products, not buy products that were made in sweatshops, etc.)? Not my thing. I don't go out of my way to buy horrible things, but I don't do a lot of research before I shop.
non-wasteful (not spend their money frivolously when they could save it to help others)? Who gets to decide what's "frivolous"?
charitable (donating money, volunteering)? Yes.
Which of the above are you? I think that's pretty obvious by my answers.

2433. How do you feel about the internet? I don't really "feel" about the internet. I like it. I use it a lot. It's a pain in the ass sometimes.
Should there be laws and censorship on the internet? I mean, they are on the internet. I think you mean to ask about restrictions. I think hate speech and child porn should be banned.

2434. Can you think of any questions that aren't already on this survey? Yes. Not that I really think anyone wants to answer the questions I have, though.

2435. Does sleep seem like a little death to you? Nope. Sleep is strictly escape for me.

2438. How many pairs of shoes do have in your closet? I'm going to guess a couple of dozen.

2456. Do you take things slowly, as they come? I'm learning to roll with things as they happen.

2458. Are you insecure? Yes.

2459. Imagine you are working in a soup kitchen. You are supposed to give each person on the line a half a cup of soup. When hungry people come up to you do you just end up emptying the cabinets for them? Nope, not while I'm serving. Later...all bets are off.

2460. Why can't we give ourselves one more chance? We have, and we've fucked that up too.
Why can't we all just get along? I mean....look around. No.

2461. What bands do you want to see live that you have never seen? I'm good with never going to another live show. Too loud, too many people.

2462. Do you like raunchy songs (like that lick my neck, lick my back, lick my pussy, lick my crack song)? I have no idea WTF this song is, but no.

2463. Do you think that the Beatles are still the Beatles without John Lennon? Or George? Nope. The Beatles, as such, are done.
Would you want to see the Sex Pistols without Sid Vicious? I just plain don't have any desire to see the Sex Pistols in any iteration.
Did you think that the members of Nirvana were smart to reform as the Foo Fighters instead of trying to stay Nirvana after Kurt's death? Yes.

2464. Do you like the band Squeeze? They are delightful, funny, and clever.

2465. When you are angry or upset do you know you're being irrational but you can't really stop? Sometimes. I've gotten better at this.

2466. Is there room in your life for one more trip to the moon? Aroo? I haven't had ANY trips to the moon tyvm.

2467. Where are they now:
Your first best friend in elementary school? Not a clue.
your first crush? Not a clue. I really needed to not crush on people with annoyingly common names!
your first boy/girlfriend? pretty sure he's home with his family not thinking about me, thank God.
your first love? yeah, he's at home, probably job-hunting, maybe heading out dancing tonight.
your first lover? I know exactly where he is, as I do most of the time.

2471. What is one of your secret delights? Memes.
What gives you a cheap thrill? Candy.
What is your biggest guilty pleasure? Pop-tarts.

When I was a child I simply could NOT understand what Elton John was singing, in any song, ever. Still struggled with his enunciation now, but I can at least look up the actual lyrics these days.
