Late Monday memes

Manic Monday

Do you enjoy brain teasers or do you find them frustrating?
I like 'em, within reason. If they are too hard for me, I quit.
Do you have any unusual collections?
Just dust, and s&p sets.
What do people notice about you within the first hour of meeting you (other than appearance)?
Probably my smart mouth.

1) If you could train a person or animal to do one thing for you whenever you wanted, and then return to you, what would you have it do?
Shop, cook, and clean up. In short, I want a chef.
2) What kind of cowardice do you most despise?
Refusing to admit when you're wrong.
3) Did March come in "like a lion" this year, or leave that way? Or both, or neither?
I don't remember how it came in, actually, but it's certainly leaving like worm. Or a duck.
4) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

This is a very weird still life. Very Dali-esque. The teardrop on the right is either a giant Hershey's Kiss or a chiseled-out dish. Those blue things? No clue. It's all weird. Kinda dreamy. Looks cold.

Risk Factor

Your Risk Taking Level: Low
You live your life with the motto: safety first.

You prefer to not take any risks at all.

But by never taking a risk, you're chancing something else...

A very boring and predictable life!
Well, no, I just don't see the point in being stupid about stuff.

Curious as a Cat

(Link in blogroll)

1) If you could know the location (i.e., heaven, hell, other) of any one person's soul, whose would you ask about?
This is weird, but all that comes to mind is Jeffrey Dahmer. There's a long story there, but suffice to say that knowing the dispensation of his afterlife would clarify a lot of things for me.
2) When was the last time you literally screamed at the top of your lungs?
I can't remember. I have occasional short bursts of screaming during football games, but sustained screaming...? No clue.

And why is it "the top of you lungs"? Wouldn't it be more likely to scream from the bottom to get the full use of your lungs?
3) What do you think is the most beautiful word in the English language? The least beautiful?
Yes.
4) What is the most cowardly thing you've ever done?
Let others take the flak for saying something with which I agreed but was too chicken to admit in public.
5) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.
This time of year, candles are one of the small joys in my life. They dispel the dark dreariness of the days, and give off heat (what I think of as 'hot light') and just make things more bearable. They just look so hopeful.
