1) What was the bravest thing you have every done?
Give birth.2) Describe the meanest thing you have ever done.
And survive 1994.
Oh no, not here, I don't think so!3) Tell us about the nicest thing anything anyone has done for you.
I have some really horrible "Bad Parent" moments which I'm not going into here. My son will be in therapy.
I can't think of anything that's huge, so I'll just say that Amy is always kind to me (when she's not teasing me...I hope that's teasing, anyway...).4) What was the most insane thing you have ever witnessed or done?
And people (except my brother) were astoundingly nice when I had surgery.
Hey, I live in the land of Incredibly Crazy Drivers. It's a daily thing to see insanity. And then there's the library, where crazy people come to roost...5) Describe the most "out of character" thing you secretly want to do.
But, personally, probably the closest I've ever been to Truly, Scarily, Clinically Crazy was when a guy came into church while I was setting up for a kids' program when Sparky was about 3. We were the only people in the church, and the guy was clearly out of his mind, which I could handle till he started asking me stuff about Sparky. So, Sparky & I went outside and sat, in plain sight of the street and a big parking lot with lots of people in it (it was opening time at the bank across the street), until the pastor arrived. He was a big guy and he cleared "Calvin" out of the church fairly quickly, before the rest of the kids arrived.
We discovered later, that he'd left a long screed declaring himself to be Jesus, and he was angry because we weren't following the rules he'd set down. Those were just the coherent bits.
I had forgotten all about this. Huh.
There are some interesting things I'd like to do in the library after closing time....that's all I'm sayin'. ;-)
