Sunday Stealing

(Link in meme-roll)
The ASK Meme, part one

1. What’s your favorite candle scent? I like pine. Vanilla. Freesia. Orange/Grapefruit. (not all at once, mind you!)

2. What female celebrity do you wish was your sister? Julia Roberts would be a lot of fun, I think.

3. What male celebrity do you wish was your brother? George Clooney would be an awesome brother. And I could smack him around for being an idiot about women.

4. How old do you think you’ll be when you get married? Er... I was 22 2/3 when I got married.

5. Do you know a hoarder? I sometimes wonder if I'm living with a hoarder! And yes, but it's not someone in what I'd call my circle of friends.

6. Can you do a split? Never could. Certainly not about to try now, at this point in my life.

7. How old were you when you learned how to ride a bike? I was 12. I got a bike for Christmas that year, and taught myself to ride it in a day. Motivation is a wonderful thing.

8. How many oceans have you swam in? Can't swim, but I've waded in the Pacific (California and Mexico) and the Atlantic (south of England).

9. How many countries have you been to? More than 10, less than 20. I'm too tired/lazy to count them up. Again.

10. Is anyone in your family in the military? Not anymore.

11. Have you named any of your body parts? Nope.

12. If you had a child today, what would you name him/her? He'd be David, she'd be Josephine. But it ain't hap'nin'.

13. What’s the worst grade you got on a test? I think I got some C's in geometry in high school, but it may have only been perception and they were actually B-'s.

14. What was your favorite TV show when you were a child? What year?? I loved a local cartoon morning show where the host drew pictures free-hand between showing cartoons. And then Gilligan's Island/Bewitched/I Dream of Jeannie...and The Partridge Family....etc. etc.

15. What did you dress up as on Halloween when you were eight? I have absolutely no idea. That might have been the Year of the Clown.

16. Have you read any of the Harry Potter, Hunger Games or Twilight series? I've read all of Harry Potter and Hunger Games. I listened to the audiobook of Twilight through a fog of nausea and called that a deal.

17. Would you rather have an American accent or a British accent? Depends on where I'm living. I'd like to have a local accent for wherever I live.

18. Did your mother go to college? No, though she absolutely should have! She'd've knocked the profs on their asses.

19. Are your grandparents still married? I guess. Technically. They've all been dead for over 40 years -- one grandfather died in 1941.

20. Have you ever taken karate lessons? Uh, no. Thanks, but...no.

21. Do you know who Kermit the frog is? Are you serious? I grew up alongside that damned felt frog; he's like a brother!

22. What was the first amusement park you’ve been to? Elitch's in Denver when it was on 39th St., in the not-so-great part of town.

23. What language, besides your native language, would you like to be fluent in? You assume I'm fluent in my native language?! lol I'd love to be fluent in Greek.

24. Do you spell the color as grey or gray? I use both, depending on how British I'm feeling.

25. Is your father bald? Uhm, technically, I guess, maybe? He's been dead and cremated for lo these past 18 years and 356 days.

Great answers!

That Damn felt frog. LOL! Kermit was in the age of the twins, when I was in my thirties. They used to watch it but the (@#$&% songs got all over the house.
