(Link in meme-roll)
Come Dancing

1. When was the last time that you went out dancing?
I'm pretty sure I've never in my life "gone out dancing." The only time I have danced in my life has been at weddings or at college school-sponsored music events.
2. Have you ever had an argument with a teacher?
Of course. It's part of learning to grow up. I'm not sure I (or the other people in the class with whom I agreed) won, but the teacher didn't come back the next year....
3. Do you have a tough time remembering people’s names?
YES! I'm horrible at this! I have to see it written down, preferably with that person standing next to me, to remember.
4. Would you rather change your past or know your future?
Neither, though I would like to know in general terms how long we're stuck with the current boss at work. I suppose it would be nice to know what Beast's back will be like next year this time.
5. What’s one thing you feel you must do in your life before it ends?
Read every good book. Yup, I'm set up to never die!
6. How many credit cards do you have right now that have a zero balance?
We never carry a balance on credit, or if we do, it's only for a month or so. Also, we only have one traditional 'credit card'--the other two are debit-as-credit.
7. What is the most expensive thing you purchased this year?
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say two ambulance rides for Beast. Those probably total more than we've paid for Sparky's second semester at college, but both are probably right up there in the stratosphere.
8 . If you're married, this probably doesn't apply to you, but: Are you mindful about getting tested for STDs/HIV at least semi-regularly? Why/why not? Married people: Were you mindful about this type of thing when you were single? Why/why not?
When I was (last) single--that would be 1986 for those keeping track of this stuff--AIDS was still pretty new. Everything else was pretty treatable, but we were all pretty clear on the ability of condoms to prevent a large majority of what I grew up calling venereal diseases.
9. If you could ask the president of the United States one question, what would it be?
"Where do you keep your Secret List of People You Can't Stand?" That way I could go see how closely it matches mine, in terms of politics.
