That's what My Beloved Sandra usta tell me when I headed out for two weeks solo in the great north woods. I guess it wasn't very wise. She's probably glad all that's behind me now.

All my comments arrived today--apologies for late reply.
If anyone is still reading, the nephew of good friends recently fell to his death while hiking alone. Aside from the tragedy of his death, it took 35 people 4 days to find and retrieve his body. Horrifying.
I hiked alone as a teen because my parents were in their 50s, and there was no one else to hike with, aside from my dog.
