Sunday 7
Name seven items you own that many might consider obsolete these days.
- A lot of floppy (i.e. 5.5") discs. Actually, the smaller ones are pretty useless these days too and we have many more of those.
- A stereo system (including a record player).
- A point-and-shoot film camera. Not really obsolete--it still works--but ridiculous to use since film is outrageously expensive and hard-to-find nowadays. We also have a Super8 film camera. Which also works. Can you still buy Super8 film??
- Loads of VHS and cassette tapes.
- TWO VCRs! Yes, really.
- A card catalog (which is really an end table in my living room). So it's not obsolete as a piece of furniture, just as a record of the library from which it came.
- A landline phone that is NOT cordless. This is important because when you use electricity, you also lose the use of cordless phones. We lose electricity a lot.
