Patrick's Place

(Link in blogroll)
Saturday 6

1. Check your pockets: how much money in coins do you have?
Uh, Patrick? I'm a girl, ergo I don't carry change in my pockets except in extremely rare circumstances. Having said that, I do have two dollar bills in my jeans today, and I'm not sure where they came from....
2. Think of the piece of jewelry you wear most often: what’s it made of?
My wedding ring is the one thing I've worn the longest (my engagement ring was remade about 15 years ago): it's just gold.
3. A classic Christmas song focuses on Silver and Gold decorations. If you had to pick one or the other, which would it be?
Silver. Or, if pressed, white gold or platinum.
4. Look around the room you’re in right now: what’s the first item you see that’s made of metal?
DVD player?
5. Take the quiz: Are You Silver or Gold?
You Are Silver
You are down to earth and unpretentious. You don't feel like you need to show off, and you're very secure with your place in the world.

You are understated
and elegant. You carry yourself with poise, and you're more known for what you don't do than what you do.

You can fit in anywhere from a country western bar to a black tie gala. You are adaptable and adventurous.

You are blind to social class and background. You see people as who they are ... not as where they came from or how much money they have.
I like to think much of this is true; I do strive for it. But I'm not elegant, and I'm eminently not a tea service of that sort of frou-frou design!
6. What are the majority of your pots and pans made of: steel, iron or copper?
Aluminum, I think.
