Do you consider yourself to be an optimist or a pessimist?

I can be Pollyanna-ish, but I am verging more toward realism most times lately.

What is your favorite color of ink to write with?

Black. But I prefer sharp pencil.

How often do you get a manicure or pedicure? Do you do them yourself or go to a salon and pay for them?

I don't pay for them very often, but I give myself a pedi about every two weeks in the summer. I've had one professional pedi, and my last manicure was last summer before Elizabeth's wedding. Prior to that...about 5 years.

Main Course
Have you ever won anything online? If so, what was it?

I have never tried to win anything online, and I don't tend to assume that getting something for free is winning, anyway. There are always (barely visible) strings.

DessertIn which room in your house do you keep your home computer?

Sparky has a non-Internet desktop in his room. The joint desktop with net access is in the office. There are two household laptops in the living room. Beast has his current laptop in his workbag, currently on the kitchen floor. And his old work laptop is on the window seat because I was retrieving a file off of it earlier this week.
