...and so is catching up.
They did a "color series" on this meme awhile back. I did a few here, and some more here, and then Bloglines stopped RSSing LJ and I stopped checking. The rest of the colors just came through, though, so here they are:
Purple
1. What did you think of the Tinky Winky controversy?

Thought up by someone with the mental age and acuity of my son when he told me that "Purple is a girl color." I think he was...8? Thanks to his cousin, he was forced to wear a little pale purple (i.e., lilac) at a wedding this summer and was surrounded by other men wearing lilac (in their) ties. He will wear dark purple, and now maybe he'll wear lighter purple too.
Anyway. Tinky-Winky. Stupid--the whole thing was stupid.

2. What was the last thing you heard through the grape vine?

I guess that would be news of a friend's baby being hospitalized.

3. Who do you want to see laughing in the purple rain?

I'm cool with anyone laughing, because honestly I'd be freaked by the purpleness of the rain.

4. What is Grimace?

Someone with whom a friend of mine works.

5. If you had a one-eyed one-horned flying purple people eater, who would you feed to it?

For above-mentioned friend's peace of mind, at least briefly, I'd send in Grimace.

Rainbow
1. Have you ever been to a Pride Parade?

Nope. They, uh, tend not to happen in rural cities of 25,000 people. Someday, there'll be one nearby, though, and maybe I'll go. I do like parades....

2. What's your favourite Skittles flavour?

Sugar-flavored works.
Or as Beast says, "Yes."
Although, as my nieces and nephew found out a few years ago, the American and British versions of color-taste combinations don't completely match. I don't personally care too much for blackcurrant.

3. Did you ever watch "Rainbow Brite"? If so, who was your favourite Color Kid?

Vomit. Never watched: gag.

4. Have you ever seen "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat"?

Yes, local theater. Pretty good, but for the life of me all I can remember is the reggae (?) moment and how totally surreal that was.

5. What's at the end of your rainbow? (Assume a pot of gold is already taken because that's just not creative).

Heaven.
