Monday Music Mambo
Today is Kiss Your Car Day. I don't suggest you actually kiss your car, but we can talk about cars and music.

1. Name a song or two about cars or driving.

"Panama" (Van Halen), "Born to Run" (Bruce Springsteen), and "Fast Car" (Tracy Chapman) all popped into my head pretty much simultaneously.

2. Name a song that's good to listen to when driving.

John Mellencamp's entire oeuvre, and Springsteen. And Everclear works too (to listen to, not to drink).

3. Name an album that's good to listen to when driving.

Aside from the above? I've had a Simon & Garfunkel Greatest Hits CD in my car occasionally to sing along to on long trips when I'm alone.

4. If you could drive the car of one musician, whose car would you choose?

As in "drive them around in their own car," or simply snag their car and drive it? If the former, I think I should take over driving for Billy Joel who keeps on running into things. If the latter...uh, I don't pay a lot of attention to what kind of car anyone is driving (ask Amy!), so I'll go with my impressions of what people might be driving and say Mellencamp; I expect he probably drives a pickup or an old sports car.
