1. The phone rings; whom do you want it to be? If it rang right now, it would only be bad news (it's 10:45 pm). I'd actually want it to be a wrong number!

2. When shopping at the grocery store, do you return your cart? I usually try to park near a cart corral, and I usually return the cart. However, if it's really lousy weather, I do leave it carefully out of the way nearby.

3. If you had to kiss the last person you kissed, would you? Sparky kissed me before he went to bed. I'd absolutely take another kiss; I never know when he's going to decide it's not cool to kiss his mom.

4. Do you take compliments well? I'm better than I used to be.

5. Do you play Sudoku? Yep. Love 'em. In fact, the regular ones are too easy now: I've moved on to Killer Sudoku. ;-)

6. If abandoned alone in the wilderness, would you survive? Depends on the time of year, location, and length of time left alone. I'd do my best.

7. Do you like nipple rings? Not enough to get one of my own.

8. Did you ever go to camp as a kid? Nope.

9. If a sexy person was pursuing you, but you knew he/she was married what would you do? Tell him to back off or I start telling his wife.

10. Could you date someone with different religious beliefs than you? How different? Certain differences I could tolerate, but I definitely couldn't date a fundamentalist of any stripe.

11. Do you like to pursue or be pursued? I can go either way.

13. Do any songs make you cry? Lots of songs make me cry. Lots of stuff makes me cry, so no surprise there....

14. Are you continuing your education? Every day until I die.

15. Do you know how to shoot a gun? I've never done it. I think I could figure it out should the need arise.

16. If your house was on fire, what would be the first thing you grabbed? My car keys.

17. Who was the last person you shared a bed with? That would be Beast, last night. Not that either of us remember it: we both collapsed and did the coma thing pretty much immediately.

18. Whom do you text the most? Beast. About once a month.

19. Favorite children’s books? Laura Ingalls Wilder. Dr. Seuss. Lots of others, too. I'm kind of a picture book junkie.

20. What color are your eyes? Hazel

21. How tall are you? 5' 7-1/2"

22. If you could do it over again, start from scratch, would you? Do what over? Everything from birth on? Jeez, no.

23. Any secret admirers? How would I know, since they'd be secret.

24. Have you ever taken pictures in a photo booth? I don't actually think I have...

25. Where is the farthest place you traveled? China--12 hours' different in time. Mongolia--similar time-change, with the addition of a much bigger culture difference. Metaphysically, the parenting journey has been life-changing.

26. Do you like mustard? Within reason.

27. Do you prefer to sleep or eat? I've learned not to do both at once, and I'd be better served at this point to sleep instead of eating.

28. Do you look like your mom or dad? I look like Dad. I look a lot like his mom, according to my sister. I'm not sure I'm thrilled about that....

29. How long does it take you in the shower? Dunno--never timed it. Probably 10 minutes.

30. Can you do splits? Heh. Never have been able to.

31. What movies do you want to see right now? Well, we're watching Air Force One (again), and I would like to see it through, but I expect I'll be asleep before it ends. Or at least on my way there.

32. What did you do for New Year’s Eve? I don't remember. We may have stayed up...we probably had no choice. I'm sure there were fireworks going off. {eyeroll}

33. Was your mom a cheerleader? My mom is the furthest thing from a cheerleader ever invented in the universe.

35. How many hours of sleep do you get a night? I probably average 6.

36. Do you like Care Bears? VOMIT!!! No. I loathe them.

37. What do you buy at the movies? SweetTarts or Spree, and Diet Coke. I usually share some of Beast's popcorn.

38. Do you know how to play poker? Yes. Yes, I do. And I'm fairly good at it, too.

39. Do you wear your seatbelt? Yes.

40. What do you wear to sleep? Jammies.

41. Anything big ever happen in your town? In the town where I work, yes. In the town where I live, doubtful.

42. Is your hair straight or curly? Wavy.

46. Do you like funny or serious people better? Funny.

48. Do you steal or pay for your music downloads? I haven't downloaded any music.

49. Do you hate chocolate? No. I can live without it, but I don't hate it.

50. What do you and your parents fight about the most? I no longer fight with my parents...er, my mom.

51. Are you a gullible person? Yes, but becoming less so as time passes.

52. If you could have any job, what would it be? The ones I have: cataloger, mom, wife.

53. Are you easy to get along with? Most of the time. But when I'm not having a good day, look out!!

54. What is your favorite time of day? Sunrise.

55. Are you a generally happy person? I think I'll plead the Fifth on this. I used to think I was, but I think I was lying about that. Or maybe it's just so long ago. I dunno.
