The Who's

Who is in the house with you?

Just Sparky, and he's still asleep (though I anticipate he will be awake before I finish this).

Who was the last person to IM you?

Amy, though technically I started it, I guess. I'm so glad Google saves these; I just reread the whole chat, and it made me smile...especially the part about 'blowing chinks.' Typos, they rule!

Who are you thinking about now?

That would be Amy (see above).

Who did you last talk to on the phone?

Our church treasurer, who called at 9:30 to ask about the annual report for Presbytery.

Who was you favorite teacher?

I had a lot of favorites. I'll go with Becky Sherrick this time 'round.

Who's birthday is next?

Unfortunately, my niece's. The baby was due just before her birthday.

Who do you wish you were with right now?

No one. I'm better off on my own for now.

Who's your favorite relative?

In my house, it varies but is usually Beast. Of ALL my relatives...probably Anne.

The Where's

Where do you go to school?

I don't anymore. Except to pick Sparky up or attend concerts, etc.

Where do you live?

In the upper midwest of the U.S.

Where is your phone?

We have four, plus the cells. One of the land line portables is right next to me. The others are in the kitchen and upstairs (two). My cell is charging in the kitchen, as is the one that will eventually be Sparky's.

Where are your parents?

Physically, they are both in Colorado. Dad's in a cemetary and mom's in the hospital.

Where do you sleep?

Trick question, right? I usually sleep in bed, though fairly often, I sleep in the recliner where I'm sitting right now (if I can't sleep or when I'm sick). Sometimes in the spare room.

Where do you shop the most?

Meijer's.

Where did you get the shirt you're wearing?

I'm still in my jammies. I bought them at half-price at Kohl's two or three winters ago. I have two sets exactly the same, with green snowmen all over them. They're warm and that's all that matters to me, really.

Where did you last take a car ride to?

I drove to and from work yesterday. Before that was shopping on Monday, the drive to the hospital Sunday night, and the drive home from the in-laws'....

Where in your house are you?

Ensconced, as usual, on the living room couch, with my feet up on the recliner.

"Everything" bagel with cream cheese, and my Allegra.

Diet Dr. Pepper. Still working on it, too.

See above re jammies. they are white and green.

It's an LG flip phone using Cingular (I think).

The cover of my planner/datebook. It's sitting here on the couch next to me.

Why are you taking this survey?

Avoidance. I should be cleaning up the house.

Why do you have a xanga?

I'm not sure I do anymore. I signed up for it about two years ago just to try out the interface. Didn't like it, never went back.

Why does basically half the world have a myspace?

Herd instinct.

Why did you pick your myspace user name?

Uhmmm...didn't...I don't have one, don't use MySpace.

Why are your best friends your best friends?

Because they tolerate and love me. And because they make me laugh.

Why do the people on the news repeat the same stuff over & over?

In case you missed it the first 391 times they ran the report. This is why I rarely watch the news, though.

The When's

When did everyone become obsessed with myspace?

Two years ago? Or thereabouts.

When did you start school?

I started kindergarten in September 1969 and went straight through till I received my Master's degree in the winter of 1987

When did you meet your best friend?

In the auditorium of our college, on the first day of band in our freshman year.

When did you last go to the mall?

About three weeks ago.

When did you last buy a new pair of pants?

In August, while buying Sparky all his school clothes. I need to buy a few more pairs now in light of the new rule about not wearing jeans to work.

When did you last burn a candle?

Last night while I was in the bath.

When were you last at school?

I was at Sparky's school about two weeks ago.

When did you last see your dad?

Alive: October 1994. Dead: November 1994.

When did you last take a shower?

Yesterday morning.
