1. How tall are you barefoot? 5'7" (a little taller if I'm standing up very straight)

2. Have you ever smoked heroin? No. Not likely.

5. Do you get nervous before "meeting the parents"? I did. I don't anymore; I love my in-laws.

6. What do you think of hot dogs? I think I don't think very hard about them. They are pretty icky, but I do like them on occasion.

7. What's your favorite Christmas song? Silent Night

8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Diet Dr. Pepper

9. Can you do push ups? Not the real kind. I've never been able to. I can do "girl push-ups" but not as many as I used to be able to.

11. What's your favorite piece of jewelry? My wedding ring.

12. Do you like painkillers? I do when I have pain. I'm careful not to take addictive meds often, though we do have them in the house for Beast's back. He doesn't use them very often, but when he needs one, we need to have them here.

13. What is your secret weapon to lure in the opposite sex? SUCH a non-issue! If I had to come up with something, though, I'd say honesty and humor.

14. Do you own a knife? It's a bit hard to cook without knives... I don't have a knife that's specifically a weapon, however.

15. Do you have A.D.D.? No. I have my moments where I feel rather distracted, but they pass.

16. Middle Name? Yep, I have one.

17. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment? Now that I was talking about painkillers, I have a headache.
Sparky was so not sick today; wonder why he needed to stay home today....
I hope it doesn't snow anymore today.

18. Name the last 3 things you have bought: I bought two new sweaters and new winter jammies yesterday at Kohl's--70% off each of them!

19. Name 3 drinks you regularly drink:Diet Dr. Pepper, water, and white wine.

20. What time did you wake up today? The alarm went off at 5:50; I got up and was showered by 6:25.

21. Current excitement? Er....none.

22. Current worry? Worry about Sparky is fading. I'm concerned about Katherine's continuing health issues (kidneys, blood pressure). And then the usual stuff.

23. Current hate? Cold weather

24. Favorite place to be? In bed, after it's all warmed up.

25. Least favorite place to be? Sliding into an intersection into traffic.

26. Where would you like to go? Somewhere warm. Orlando would have been nice....

27. Do you own slippers? Yes.

28. What shirt are you wearing? A sweatshirt with a turtleneck insert. It's black and has birds and snowy pine boughs on the front and one sleeve.

29. Do you burn or tan? I burn very easily, but if I'm careful, I can get a light tan.

30. Favorite color(s)? Blue. White. Black. Purple.

31. Would you be a pirate? I would suck as a pirate.

32. Last time you had an alcoholic drink? Last Wednesday night.

33. What songs do you sing in the shower? I don't sing in the shower. Ever.

34. What did you fear was going to get you at night as a child? I don't remember really worrying about this. I'm sure I did, but it's all faded into amorphousness. I was terrified of people in general, though, even in the light.

35. What's in your pockets right now? I have a chapstick in my front right jeans pocket.

36. Last thing that made you laugh? Something I got in email about Bill Gates.

37. Best bed sheets you had as a child? I had flannel sheets that I loved.

38. Worst injury you've ever had? I messed up my right knee falling down the front porch steps about 7 years ago. It hurt for months, but more importantly, my knee now makes horrible clicking and popping sounds all the time now. I have knee surgery in my future.

40. How many TVs do you have in your house? Two...three if you count the tiny one Sparky bought for $5 that no longer has a picture.

41. Who is your loudest friend? Depends on the circumstances. Jon can be loud during sports contests. Jenny can be loud. Beast can be loud when he's outside or working on something very intensely.

42. Who is your most silent friend? That would be Amy. Hands-down.

43. Does someone have a crush on you? Not that I'm aware of.

44. Do you wish on shooting stars? Nope.

45. What is your favorite book? These Happy Golden Years.

46. What is your favorite candy? Necco hearts

47. What song do/did you want played at your wedding? The Wedding Song, by Paul Stookey. Elizabeth sang it, Katherine played the piano. My sister Ellen played the organ, and used the same music all my sisters used: Handel's Water Music.

48. What song do you want played at your funeral? I'd like bagpipes but not Amazing Grace. Maybe, like Dad, A Mighty Fortress.

49. What were you doing 12 AM last night? Sound asleep for a change.

50. What was the First thing you thought of when you woke up this MORNING? Don't wanna get up!!
