Have you ever been stuck in an elevator?
No, I don't think I have. I've been on some pretty decrepit elevators, though.
What is your middle name?
It's a book of the Bible.
Have you stayed put very long? Do you like moving? How many times have you moved? Have you always lived in a house / flat? And finally … how long does it take to unpack?
We've lived here just over 3 years. I don't really love moving, especially packing up, but I'm better at it than I ever used to be. We still have stuff we haven't unpacked (books, especially). I grew up in a house, and we've owned three houses over twenty years, but we also lived for two years in an apartment, and two more years in an upper flat. It wasn't so bad, but I really prefer not having neighbors right on top of me.
Have you ever worn your slippers in public? What kind of slippers do you have?
My current slippers are dark blue shlubby slides (NOT mules, just flat ones, similar to these). I have worn them out to the mailbox, I think, and I may--some time in the past--have driven Sparky to school while wearing slippers. But I've never worn them in a public building or whatever.
Why do people think the Question of the Day is a meme?
Because it is. :-)
What is the best gossip you’ve heard recently (no real names, please)?
Oh, I came across a blog done by a person with whom I do committee work and found out about an activity in which this person participates...which I find quite weird. Since weirdness is kind of normal for this person, it doesn't surprise me, but this activity is just WEIRD outside the normal weirdness!!
So, tell us, right here in the comment box, what’s the weather like wherever you are today?
My little weather button here says it's 18 degrees F., with a SW wind at 7 mph, and clear. It snowed, lightly, all night, but it's a beautiful morning.
