Miss Elainie

Why I would or wouldn’t like to...

1. Have an airline ticket to a romantic place.
I'd love to get away somewhere. As for the romantic part, anyplace can be romantic with the right person.
2. Drink Pina Coladas and get caught in the rain.
...eh, not so much...
3. Taste a lobster stew, with the surf by a window with an ocean view.
Now that sounds absolutely wonderful, presuming it wasn't in Maine right now. I'd prefer someplace warm with an ocean view.
4. Walk through a meadow, barefoot, early in the morning.
Again, we're assuming summer, or somewhere warm...but yeah, I'd do this, always assuming there are no critters calling that meadow home who would be annoyed at my presence. Like, say, bulls.
5. Get my motor running, head out on the highway, looking for adventure.
I dunno about YOUR motor, but this is the best option for me right now. Anywhere but here, in my car, with a credit card for gas and snacks.
6. Write love letters in the sand.
Never really understood this: wouldn't you want something a little more permanent than sand?
7. Watch the moon hiding in the desert sky.
Mmmm, sounds lovely.
8. Gather lilacs in the spring and walk down an endless lane.
Lilacs ... spring ... yeah, one snowstorm and I'm already wishing for warm weather again! I do love lilacs.
9. See the pyramids along the Nile.
YES! Oh, yes, and then cruise down the Nile to see the Valley of the Kings. I'm really good with this one. We could even combine it with #7.
10. See April in Paris. See Chestnuts in blossom. Sit at a Holiday tables under the trees.
At this point, the only reason I have any interest in Paris is to get it crossed off my list of places to see so people will leave me alone about seeing Paris!
