Patrick's Weekender

Link at left

Saturday Six

1. What is the last fruit or vegetable juice you drank? How long ago did you drink it?
I believe that would be the grape juice at communion yesterday, just a little shlook of it in the little cups we Protestants use.
2. Which are more likely to have on hand: fresh fruit and vegetables or fresh juice?
Fresh veggies and fruit. We're really bad about juice in this house.
3. Does a negative movie review make you less likely to see the movie? Does a positive review make you more likely to see it?
Reviews of all sorts make me more critical of whatever (books, movies...), but they don't really influence whether I see a movie or not. Sometimes ANY movie is just what the doctor ordered.

4. Take the quiz: What gender is your brain?
Your Brain is 60% Female, 40% Male

Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female
You are both sensitive and savvy
Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed
But you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve
5. Which line of description in the results best describes you?
The last line, completely! I'm actually surprised at the split being so close; as I answered the questions, I kept thinking "Girl answer. Girl answer." Oh, well.
6. The U.S. Mint has announced a plan to reintroduce one-dollar coins, this time with former presidents. Would you use one-dollar coins, or is paper still the way to go?
I've thought for years that we should nix the paper dollars and go with coins...which shows what I know. I'd prefer the coins, but frankly, they are a hassle for cash registers: there's nowhere to put them. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten change in coins just so the store can unload them!

Sunday Seven

Come up with your own list of strange flavors that you think are worthy of Jones Soda's concoctions. (They don't have to necessarily be "holiday" foods, or even flavors you'd want to drink.) I think some of those flavors are terminally icky-sounding, so I'm going a different tack...
1. Christmas Eve Panicked Shopping Soda
2. Intense Family "Discussion" Soda
3. Which Church Should We Go To This Year? Soda
4. Everyone's Getting Gift Cards! Soda
5. "But I WAAAAAANNTTTT It!!!!" Soda (tastes like cheap wine)
6. Christmas Card Hand Cramp Soda
7. Silent Night Soda
