Hump Day

Long Distance Day

1. What's the longest distance you've ever traveled?
In January 1985, I flew from the States to Zurich, then to Moscow. We eventually traveled from Moscow to Omsk to Irkutsk to Beijing, back to Irkutsk to Tashkent to Samarkand, back to Moscow, to Leningrad, back to Moscow, back to Zurich to Rome to Florence, back to Zurich yet again, and then back to the States.

In five weeks.

I've never figured the actually mileage; it would just depress me.
2. What's the longest distance you've ever walked?
I have no idea. I used to walk everywhere, because I had no choice. When I was a kid, I hiked a lot too. Maybe 20-30 miles?
3. How far away is the friend/relative who lives the longest distance from you?
According to GeoBytes, I'm 3,881 miles from my sister in England. Actually, both of them are there right now.
