1. What job do you have, and why do you like/hate it?

I am the cataloger in a medium-sized public library. I love the actual messing about with new materials and with the computer. Every day is different. However, lately it has been awful because we switching databases. Having to make sure the codes transfer from the current database into the new one is complicated, and isn't being helped by the people who are supposed to be telling us what to do...and aren't.

2. As a kid, what did you want to be when you "grew up?"

The checker at the grocery store. I had big dreams.

3. Is the job you have now anything like what you imagined as a kid?

No. And yes. Obviously, it's not the grocery store, but I do get to mess with barcodes and so forth (although when I was growing up there were no barcodes).

4. Do you have a five-year career plan?

Nope. No clue. I'd like to be employed.

5. In order to get the job of your dreams, is there anything you wouldn't do? Why?

I don't have a dream job outside of the one I have. So I'm perfectly happy keeping my integrity.
