From where you are now sitting,
if you turn your head to the LEFT, what do you see?
What would you like to see?

I'm on the sofa again, as usual. On the seat next to me is a box of Wheat Thins from last night, this morning's breakfast plate (empty), the DVD remote, a notebook of Sparky's and yesterday's comics page. Further away is the bentwood (ish) rocker and then I can see Buddy snarfing down some lettuce for breakfast in the front hall next to a chair with a bag of PartyLite stuff I need to sort out. I can also see the sun that has come through the front door lights which is hitting the wall by Buddy's cage.
What would I like to see? I guess I'd like to see the hallway painted. But we haven't decided what color, or anything else, yet.

A narrow gate-leg end-table with an empty Rx bottle, a clippers, a pencil and pen, my morning DP on a coaster, a box of Kleenex and a book. Beyond that, the card-catalog/coffee table and then the built-in cabinet with two clocks, our vacation diary, a thermometer, four frames (our wedding invitation, a silhouette of Sparky done when he was about 4, Molly's painting of Coal Creek Canyon, Sparky's spring photo from last year), an Ikea table lamp and a really ugly housewarming gift that I want to get rid of. I think I'll use it for my white elephant this Christmas at our staff party.

I guess I'd like to see glass doors on the cupboards and legs on the catalog so we can use it as a coffee table!
