What was your very first paying job?

Babysitting...and library page.

Did you have a job that you just dreaded going to every day?

Yes, my first full-time job was like this.

What was your favorite job and why did you like it?

I think my favorite job was actually delivering newspapers. I was done by 6 a.m. most days. 'Course, I didn't make any money, and I was chronically short of sleep.... And winter pretty much sucked.

If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?

For the next year I'd like to be in charge of our library consortia's technology decisions and suddenly find about $3 million so we could stop the Sirsi Madness and make everyone else convert to the better software. Then I'd like to go back to doing my job where I am.
