1. What's the strangest food combination you've tried that you actually ended up liking?

It's too early this morning. All I can remember is thinking how odd "cheesecake" sounded when I was growing up, and how wonderful it ended up tasting. Silly me.

2. New Arline Restrictions May Be Here To Stay: How do you feel about the new restrictions about no liquids or gels allowed in carry-on baggage being made permanent? Is it overkill or a now, necessary precaution?

I think they will eventually have to ease up a bit. People with contacts need their contact solution, people are supposed to stay hydrated when they fly, I need my Chapstick... So unless the airlines are going to start supplying these things as part of the service {insert guffaw here}, they'll have to let it go.

I saw, on CNN, an agent from the Israeli airport security agency saying that ultimately we need to focus on stopping the people, not the items. That requires training for airline officials and security, and that won't be cheap.

3. Are you going to go see World Trade Center? Do you think it's too early for a movie about the 9/11?

No, I won't be going. Too soon for me--how about in 10 more years? Besides, there is some talk that terrorists are looking at this anniversary as a reason to ramp-up their activity {viz: this week} and get noticed.

Here's a question: where are the plans for a movie about the bombing of the Murrah building in Oklahoma City? Oh, I get it: that's just the midwest and it was in 'internal issue'; who cares? But, hey, NEW YORK gets hit by those 'damn fureigners' and we all have to keep having it shoved into our consciousness...yeah. Right.

4. You've got 5 minutes to take one shopping cart and grab as many items as you can fit in it. Then they are yours free. Where do you head first?

Circuit City. The expensive stuff there that I 'need' is portable (mostly) and fairly concentrated in a small area.

5. macgyver: v. 1. To use ingenuity to fix or remedy a problem using only the tools available at hand. 2. To jury-rig (taken from The Urban Dictionary). Do you think macgyver should be added to the dictionary?

Why not, actually? But only if Richard Dean Anderson's picture stays right there next to it in perpetuity.
