Getting these outta the way while I clean out the Bloglines...hahaha

Where would you hide a safe in your house to assure that it couldn't be easily found?
My parents had a safe. A full-sized solid steel safe: probably close to 5' in each dimension. Mom had it in her apartment when she moved out, and it was brought to my sister's house where we emptied it.

You know what was inside, among other things? All the receipts and check stubs from the house payments over the years, plus all the mortgages, stamped PAID (they second mortgaged two different times: once to send my oldest sis to college and once when Dad declared bankruptcy). Yeah.

We have a fire-safe, about 2' by 1' where we keep our marriage contract, our passports, our Social Security cards, birth certificates, and stocks and bonds. We don't actively hide it, but it's out of sight. I never actually even thought about hiding a safe. The one I grew up with was probably 2 tons, empty. The fire-safe? About 25 pounds, stuffed full.
Why does Mickey Mouse wear gloves all the time?
The same reason he always has pants on. Who wants to look at mouse hands and butt?
Do you watch Mythbusters? What myth would you like to bust?
The one about women being weaker and prone to illness. Don't get me started on this....

By the way, we do watch Mythbusters; even I find the science palatable!
