If you could have a free subscription to any magazine, which one would you like to have?

Probably something from overseas. If I'm getting something free, I want it to be worthwhile. I'd have to do some research about which one, though....probably some book review journal from England, if I had to guess blindly, or The Guardian.

Describe your living room (furnishings, colors, etc.).

This seems familiar...

OK, we just painted (the royal 'we'--it was Beast who painted) the room in the spring. It's a pale green with a grayish-green ceiling color. They both play off the fireplace rocks. The furnishings are comfortable: a large (really large!) La-Z-Boy recliner and a couch with recliners at either end. There is a bentwood rocker, a small bookshelf (which used to be in Sparky's room, but his books outgrew the space), a couple of small tables, lots of CDs in a rack, and the TV/DVD/VCR/surround sound stuff. A clock. Some lamps, and a ceiling fan that's rather Wright-esque. Fireplace wood and tools. TOO MANY newspapers (I'm a week behind again). And the laptop. And me, right now.

What does the shape of a circle make you think of?

I used to have nightmares, not about events or occurrences, but about geometric shapes and lines. Circles were the worst.

If anyone would care to let me know what that was all about, I'd love to hear. I haven't had one of these kind of freakouts since I was a teenager.

What was the last really funny movie you watched?

Hmmmm....the last funny movie that I watched part of was the end of "Heathers" a couple of weeks ago on HBO. Before that, maybe "Monster House." It wasn't hysterically funny, but it was a pretty good flick.
