1. Do you have a true love? If so, tell us a little about him or her.
I am fortunate enough to have a few. I'll just talk about the two who live with me:2. If you don't have a true love person, I'm sure you have a true love hobby. What's your favorite activity?Beast is my Found true love. He is charming (though it exhausts him), loving, smart and silly. Frankly, he's very silly; I could live with a little less of that, perhaps. In many ways, he's the antithesis of me; he draws me out, makes me face the world while reminding me that the world is pitiless. We agree on so many important things, though we disagree on some basic ones. I complete his sentences, he finishes my projects. Or at least pushes me forward when I get bogged down. He is the center, where I go to find out where I left my best self.
Sparky is my Made true love. There is absolutely nothing in the world like the love that sets fire to your heart the minute you lay eyes on your child the first time. As the years pass, I sometimes have to stop and wait for a second to find that the fire still burns. He is the most wonderful gift I've ever been given, the most frustrating person I've ever met, the person who causes me the most grief (in literal terms). I can't imagine who I'd be if I hadn't known Sparky. I know I'd worry less, be less intense. I would have never learned the lessons he's taught me: patience, love, kindness, gregariousness, humility (a lot of that!), standing up for what's right, silliness, and all the words that rhyme with 'duck' at 140 decibals....
Reading and/or blogging. Which frequently amounts to the same thing.3. What's your favorite romantic movie?
I don't really care about romantic movies that much. Having said that, I liked "Ghost." Good music, and Whoopi Goldberg was in it: two major thumbs-up there.
