1. What are two ways you find relief from the summer heat? Explain:

A/C. I actually like being warm, but then it's not unbearably warm that often where I live. On the other hand, I need A/C to survive allergy season.

2. Is it generally warmer or cooler where you live this summer? Explain:

Compared to what? It's the usual mid-80s to mid-90s with lots of humidity like every summer. It's wetter this year than it was last summer, which is good for crops and the climate here.

3. On a hot summer day, would you rather go to the pool or to the mall (air-conditioned)? Explain:

Mall. Can't swim. If I go with a friend, it's not so bad at the pool.

4. If you could be on vacation this week, would part of your decision-making be based on the weather? Explain:

There are six kids here: weather is critical in planning. It has rained all night so we'll be doing a movie afternoon instead of a pool or strolling the shops on Main Street kind of day.

5. Name two cities you believe have the best weather and two cities with the worst weather year-round:

Good weather: San Diego, Colorado Springs.
Bad weather: New Orleans, Milwaukee.
