More lists

Found, while browing my sitemeter, at thesurveyplace... [fyi: I'm not linking to all of the sites I discuss; you'll have to find them yourselves]

01 : What is your homepage set to?
My personalized Google page: Quote of the Day, American Libraries RSS feed, local weather at home, Word of the Day, my Gmail inbox, NPR Recommended Stories, and GoogleNews top stories.
02 : What is your favorite website?
Gotta be Blogger and all its concomitant parts.
03 : Which five NON-EMAIL websites do you frequent most often?
Blogger (see above), Google, Nationstates, Brainbusters, Websudoku...I think.
04 : What is your favorite band site (official or fan site)?
Urk. None.
05 : What is your favorite search engine?
Google
06 : What is your favorite site to waste time on?
Blogger (I'm sensing a problem here)
07 : What is your favorite online comic?
Well, I get "Unshelved" delivered in my emailbox...
08 : What is the very first site you remember visiting?
Are you freakin' serious? I've been online since 1990! So, we could count Prodigy, I guess.
09 : What site have you been visiting the longest?
Of those still around, Yahoo! probably.
10 : What now-defunct website do you miss the most?
I'll always have a soft spot in my head and heart for TF on Prodigy circa 1991-1993.
11 : What website cheers you up?
Any meme site...
12 : What website annoys you?
www.whitehouse.gov etc.
13 : How old were you when you first used the 'net?
I used my parents' Prodigy when I was about 24 (1988ish). I used gophernet about the same time, and I was on DARPAnet for about 2 minutes when I was about 23.
14 : How long did it take you to stumble on a porn site?
Hmmm, I don't think I ever stumbled on one accidentally.
15 : Have you ever put a profile up on an online dating site?
If OKCupid counts, then yes. But I'm completely clear on the fact that I'm not interested in dating, sex, or anything much else. Just the quizzes.
16 : Approximately how many site links are in your favorites?
At home, there are about 20. At work, closer to 50.
17 : Which website do you love the design/layout of?
Google: simple and functional with no crap gunking it up.
18 : What online shopping/store site do you like best?
Amazon (where else?)
19 : What are the last five sites you visited?
thesurveyplace, sitemeter, Google, Blogthings, my main blog
20 : Which email site do you use?
Primarily Gmail, but I have at least two non-gmail addresses (and 3? 4? Gmail ones).
21 : Who is your Internet provider?
Multiple piggybacks. Too complicated to explain.
22 : What kind of 'net do you have (dial-up, cable, etc.)?
At work it's a T1 or whatever. At home it's wireless.
23 : Have you ever gotten a computer virus? How bad was it?
Shit yeah. Bad enough to scare the crap out of us and fry some files. Luckily, we'd just backed up the hard drive. Still, that computer has never really been the same.
24 : What website are you addicted to?
"Hello, my name is Cat. and I'm a blogger-aholic."
25 : Do you have a website? If so, list:
Well, there's the one where this is posted... [check my profile if you really think you need to know]. I actually have...uh...8 blogs.
26 : Do you have a paid subscription to any sites? If so, list:
Yahoo! Music, and Consumer Reports.
27 : What are your favorite LJ communities?
n/a
28 : Do you own any LJ communities? Which ones?
