Wedding Fever!

1. Who's was the last wedding you attended?

My niece's, last summer.

2. Do you enjoy attending weddings, or do they bore you to tears?

If I know the people, I enjoy it. I always enjoy the church part; the reception can go either way.

3. Would you prefer your wedding to be a lavish event with hundreds of guests, or a casual one with good friends and family? (or if you're already married, what was yours like?)

Our was psychotic: mostly casual but we were in formal clothes: men in tuxes, women in long dresses. Whatever. If I had to do it again, I'd have a picnic after eloping.

4. Have you ever been part of the wedding party?

Many times. Aside from the obvious, I have been a bridesmaid...uhm...three times in my life, and a reader twice. I was even unofficial "backup bouncer" at one.

5. Does marriage in general make you feel goopey and warm inside, or skeptical?

It is entirely dependent on the people getting married, although I lean towards goopy slightly. However, if I suspect that this couple isn't exactly matched, I tend towards skepticism, which has increased as I age.
