Friday's Feast

Feast One Hundred & Two

Appetizer
Name one thing nice that you could do for someone else today.
I'll pretend it's Friday already...

I'll probably make dinner and clean up the counters in the kitchen which are beyond scary.
Soup
When was the last time you were frightened by the weather?
Deeply frightened? It's been about two years, since our microburst that sent cast-iron furniture and trampolines flying around the neighborhood.

There've been a couple of days since then that I didn't like the look of the weather, but nothing much came of it.
Salad
What would you say is the most useful website or blog that you visit?
Heh. Uhm, for therapeutic purposes, Blogger. For information, Google.
Main Course
Who was your favorite singer/group when you were a child?
How young of a child? Or, if you prefer, how old of a child?

I always liked Bing Crosby when I was little, and Nat King Cole. They both had beautiful, calming voices. When I got older and had to pick someone "cool" I went directly to The Partridge Family. Some would say my taste in music hasn't really evolved much. Oh, well.
Dessert
Do you have any rituals? If so, what are they?
I suspect that they are so firmly ingrained that they are completely subconscious behaviors at this point.

OK, here's one: when I start doing my hair in the mornings, I always plug in the curling iron and turn it on while flipping over the book (or magazine) on the bathroom counter. I usually brush my teeth while the curling iron heats up; I spend a lot of time cleaning my teeth, I understand, but part of that is because I'm reading! Then I continue to read while I do my hair. Magazines are best for this, but light book-reading works all right.
