Random Joy

1. What is one personality trait that you can both loathe and admire in a person?
Extreme positive attitude. It's helpful at times, and reallydamn annoying at other times.

2. How do you react when you've just told a joke that completely bombed?
Turn red, shut up, lick my wounds in silence.

3. When you’re sick, do you prefer to have people doting on you or would you rather everyone left you alone?
I'd like a little dotage, and lot of quiet.

4. Do you prefer books/movies/stories that you can relate to, or ones that can take you far away from reality?
Ones I can relate to that take me far away from reality. ;-) I have to have some hook on which I can hang my suspension of disbelief.

5. What's your preferred explanation of why we dream? Is there any deeper meaning or is it all random?
I think we dream so we can sort out all the weirdness and randomness of life. Next to dreams, reality isn't nearly as chaotic as it might seem otherwise. In terms of deeper meaning...well, everything has meaning. But I don't think dreaming about vegetables means that you "need to be more down to earth.." Sometimes a cabbage is just a cabbage. Personally, I love weird dreams...the weirder the better.
