(¯`'•.¸(¯`'•.¸A Lizzie Quizzie!¸.•'´¯)¸.•

from ICL who got it elsewhere...

1. What is the best memory you have of your mother?
Giggling through prayer time at First Avenue.

2. What are three things things you inherited from your mom?
Her tendency to worry about stupid shit, her martyrdom, and a lot of her sayings ("Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about!")

3. Did you honor your mother this weekend?
"Honor" her? Wow. I'll have to think about that. I called her and we talked for longer than we've talked in ages. She didn't sound quite as good as she has for the last few months. But, "honor" her??

4. How many weddings have you been in? How much did the last one cost you?
I've stood up in three in my life. I've been reader in two. The most recent weddings have been the reader ones, and that was just the cost of clothes, transportation to the wedding (and the hotel stays) and gifts.

5. How much do you typically spend on a present? Do you buy off the registry?
This is entirely dependent on how well I know the person/people involved. Now that I can afford it, I normally don't look at anything less than $50, but obviously that fluctuates wildly. I look at the registry, but freqently try to find something that I know will be useful that the couple may not think about needing. I gave my niece and nephew a really large handmade serving platter last summer because they have loads of family in the area and will want things like this when they have company. It's the kind of platter that will work for chips at a picnic, for hors d'oeuvres at a party, or for turkey at Thanksgiving.

6. What is the last thing you bought yourself?
I'm a cheap date: Oil of Olay face wash.

7. Checks, check card, debit card, credit card or cash?
What's the question here? The only thing I don't think I have is a check card (isn't that the same as a debit card?). I use all of these things. In order of preference: Cash (from the ATM, so there's that debit card already!), debit card, credit card, check. We only write about 6 checks each month now; everything else is done via EFT.

8. On a scale from 1-10, how happy are you right now?
At 8:45 a.m. on this Monday morning, I am probably about a 9.

9. Are you a responsible person?
I try to be.

10. Life is a ____________________.
...cabaret old chum.
