First answer: the U.S. But I assume you mean before they got here...
One look at my family and you'd be able to guess someplace Northern European or we'd've all died of skin cancer before reproducing. The list of my ethnicity is lengthy and includes French Canadians, Scots-Irish, British, French, Dutch and German. I'm sure there is other stuff mixed in there too.

How would you describe your sneeze?
How does one describe a sneeze?
It's loud, not particularly ladylike, and usually shows up in pairs. Like the rest of my family, I sneeze in bright sunshine, to the amusement of my husband's family, who don't.

I just got out of the shower; does "myself" count?

Who made the strongest first impression on you?
In person? Ever? That's really an impossible question since I could say anyone from a regular library user (whom I loathe) to Beast to Christian Bale (since I mentioned him already today) to my mother. Take your pick.
Someone I don't know: Bill Clinton. I remember his speech at the '88 Dem Con...zzzzzzzzz.
