This week's questions were suggested by Kim.
- Do you have a favorite character(s)?
Too many to list completely here. V.I. Warshawski, Jane Eyre, and Laura Ingalls Wilder about cover the gamut, eh? - What book/author is he/she/it from?
Warshawski is written by Sara Paretsky, Jane Eyre is by Charlotte Bronte, and Laura is the author of her own books. - Why do you like this person--what is it about the way he/she was written that drew you to them?
Realism. No pulling the punches. Familiarity with them helps. And I they are people I'd like to be, or, well, that I'd like to be like. - Is there something more you would like the author to tell you about them?
Paretsky: no, not really. She covers it pretty well.
Bronte: Did this happen in real life?
Wilder: Where were the outhouses? :-)
