What was the last ceremony you attended?
Church is sort of ceremonial. But I guess if you want to be specific, my ordination as elder in January.

What is one lesson you have learned in the past year?
You can't change the decisions people make; it's rare to even be able to influence them. It's a lesson I keep having to learn.

Main Course
Tell us about one of your childhood memories.
I used to dig in our side yard, under a flowering bush, with spoons from the kitchen. I believe there is still one buried there. At least one.

Dessert
If you could extend any of the four seasons to be twice as long as normal, which season would you want to lengthen?
Late summer/early fall. So, like, September through mid-October.
