The key for colors:
  • Black font means it'll probably get bumped down so I don't drown in Sad or Heavy. Keep in mind I have approximately 430 titles on my next/TBR lists, and those titles do not include the piles of books in the house that I need to slot in
  • Tan font means those will probably make the cut on the Actual IRL Next List
  • Green font is the Maybe, We'll See pair. I've been moving the Qur'an down the list for literally years. Maybe I'll just buckle down and do it this spring/summer
I just finished a (very good) book about early Christianity so I need a break from that for awhile. I'm sure there will be a Michael Connelly that finds its way into the mix--I've been plowing through his backlist for eons, reading them in order with lots of breaks because they are often really dire; the most recently finished one came out in 2011.

Good luck with your list. You're way more organized about it. I hope they're all enjoyable books.

Wow. That's a lot of heavy reading. I read large chunks of the Qur'an when I was in college. I think I still have it here.

Agree with CountryDew on the heavy reading in your list.. and I had to look up The Polysyllabic Spree.. now have added it to my TBR. :)
