Be of Good Cheer

1. What’s something non-political you’re rooting for nowadays?

   It's football season: Go, Pack, Go!!

2. What were the circumstances–and who was the recipient–the last time you were part of a standing ovation?

   I have no memory of doing this recently. Maybe Sparky's graduation almost 18 months ago? Surely we've been somewhere since then.... But I can't think of anything.

3. What’s a cheer you remember from high school or college?

   "Ice cold beer makes you wanna cheer, Ice cold Duck makes you wanna.... Stand up sit down FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!"

4. What inanimate object in your residence deserves applause for its outstanding role in your life this past week?

   The HVAC is being put through its paces this week; we've had AC and heat on over the course of the week.

5. When was the last time a group of people clapped for you?

   In my presence, it's been some time. I'm sure I was applauded in absentia with the rest of those honored on Sunday School teacher appreciation day last spring. I was out of town.
