Live Long, and Prosper
1. There are a lot of emotions in life. Except for Mr. Spock. What emotionally scares you the most?
Fury. I don't do well with extreme anger. Actually, to be honest, I tend to shut down and deal pretty well with anger. It's probably fear that scares me most, both mine and that of others.2. Do you have any present goals that are tough enough that you'd like to forget about them?
No. They don't go away if I don't think about them. Years of experience have proven that to me.3. Your Internet service goes down. What would you miss the most?
Memes. hah OK, really, it's the ability to look things up instantaneously.4. Name one thing that you do as a parent that you absolutely know will make your kids happy. If you're not a parent, feel free to substitute "friend" or nomenclature that works for you. (Nomenclature? Can you tell that I stole this question?)
Well, today I bought him potato chips. Most food-related stuff is a gimme.5. If money was no object, and you had a free month or so, what would you love to do?
I'd go sit on a beach somewhere warm for the entire month of January.6. Why did you start your blog? Was it because you were pissed at someone?
No. Wow, really? I started it to keep track of the books I've read, and ended up with 12 other blogs beside that.7. Kimber and Berleen (Thunks founders & BFFs) are finally going to meet in person. Who are you friends with in the blogosphere that you'd love to meet? Why?
There are several. I think Alison and I would have a good time together: we could sit somewhere and read books and talk about history. ;-)8. When you were in high school, if you can remember back that far, what mistake did you make that you'd like to change?
I'd talk to boys. I was too shy to do anything but twitch around them, especially the ones I thought were cute.9. Do you believe in forever, as in 'love forever'?
I do. Probably not in the way most people mean it, though. I definitely believe that people change, though. If love is strong and elastic enough, maybe it can handle the changes.10. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being uninhabitable and 10 being cleanliness that meets the standards of OCD, what is you favorite romantic comedy movie?
I have no idea what this question means. I like Miss Congeniality. Can't think of any others right now.
4 sweet-talkers :
I didn't understand the last question either.
:-D :-D We would have some interesting conversations.
I don't get the last question either and I wrote it. Go figure...
I have children of the four-legged variety. They're highly motivated by food too :)
Happy Thursday!
