Fun Stuff I Will Be or Have Been Doing This Week *
- ShonLoc/Skillet/TobyMac concert. Loud. But good. I'm old, but I did dance for Toby and DiverseCity.
- Two days off work. This only means that I will be able to log in from home and do a lot of boring hacking from my recliner, without the miasma of being on call for my ever-more-irritating boss.
- Shopping for Beast's birthday present. OK, mostly on his birthday.
- Opening my birthday presents. Nothing that will sound very exciting, but I feel like I hit the jackpot.
- Moving all my earrings, and other jewelry, to their new home. Part of my present: new earring tree and matching 'trees' for other jewelry.
- Filling out all the info for Sparky's graduation ceremony. Is there really any need for namecards? I threw all 100 of mine away when I turned 23, all except the (maybe) 15 or 20 I gave to people over the previous 5 years.
- Making cupcakes and mac-n-chee for dinner for Beast (and Sparky and me too). Happy Birthday, Beast!!
- Tidying up the house in preparation for company. This is less "fun" than just "good" and "necessary" but it's for a great purpose.
- Continuing my OCD-style planning for next spring's trip. One Excel file for each city, plus assorted Word docs for walking tours... I love this stuff.
- Cheeseburger in Paradise. Good. Velveeta burger. Very good. Other diners. Good, except for the idiots at the big table by us.
- Cleaning out the box of puzzles and books next to my bed...wow, lotsa junk in there!
- Watching some of the many many hours of DVR'd shows we've got. Haven't seen Survivor in two weeks, or TAR for over a month. And there are some other things too, I think.
- Bell choir. It can be tedious as hell some weeks--two people who can't read music and who haven't got a clue about rhythm can do that--but sometimes it's amazingly fun.
* "Week", in this case, is broadly defined as within 6 or 7 days on either side of today's date.

Now I'm hungry for a cheeseburger. I wonder why.
Have a terrific day. :)
Thursday Thirteen
Two days off from work...Woo hoo!
I hope that they're Friday & Monday {so that you can have a long weekend...a pox on that irritating boss!}
LOL I misread your #1 to read TonLoc & Toby Mac. And I thought, "Why on earth would TonLoc & Toby Mac be performing together? How odd!" Then, like the doof I am, I re-read it and realized my mistake.
