1. What are the traditional favorites?
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans or corn, jello, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls ... and pie.2. What new recipes will you try this year?
I made Mom's orange jello with carrot strips in it. Not bad, except the jello didn't set up right. I used WAY fewer carrots than she ever did.3. What part of the meal do you never compromise?
Stuffing, potatoes, and pie are de rigeur regardless of the rest of the meal. Would like cranberry sauce too, though it seems weird to do that with ham.4. Who gets to carve the turkey?
Always Beast. I don't even try.5. Family style around the table or buffet style and everyone sits wherever there’s room?
BUFFET STYLE??? No way: we sit and say grace and pass the food and eat.6. How many will be at your table this year?
There were 7 of us.7. Three best pies for Thanksgiving dessert?
Cherry, pumpkin...and the birthday cake Amy made this morning.8. Cranberry sauce… yay or nay?
MUST have.9. What time do you eat Thanksgiving Dinner?
Normally it's between 2 and 3. This year, it was closer to 4 because Sparky had to work today. For two hours.10. Favorite leftover?
I rarely see any of the potatoes, but I love the stuffing. OMG: LOVE the stuff!
