Fruits

1. What is your favorite fruit?

Strawberries. Or, no: blood oranges!! Mmm, love those...

2. If you like fruit salad, what is your favorite combination of fruits to use.

Apples, mandarin oranges, bananas, strawberries, and a little fresh coconut.

3. Do you have a fruit theme in any of your non-edible items (like clothing, jewelry, handbags, towels, wallpaper, etc.)

Ugh, no. I grew up in the 70s and we had fruit-themed wallpaper in the house and on some of the dishtowels. It was hideous.

4. What is your favorite fruit juice?

Grapefruit.

5. What is your favorite fruit-flavored ice cream?

I like sherbet if there is fruit involved.

6. What is your favorite fruit recipe?

I think I gave it to you in #2. Unless you mean apple crisp or apple pie? If you want either of the latter two, well, it's basically peel/cut/core a kabillion tart apples and then either put them in a crust or a pan. If the crust, sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg and a bit of sugar, cover with second crust, cut slits in crust and bake. If the crisp, once they're in the pan mix sugar, cinnamon and a little flour and sprinkle over the top and bake. Either way, the hard part is the first step.

7. Are there any fruits you don't like?

Not a huge fan of pomegranates or plantains.
