1. What is one really fast, know-by-heart "go-to" meal to fix in a pinch?

Grilled burgers and frozen veggies. Or spaghetti. Or boxed stuff. Or the local take-out pizza place. I have a pretty big stable of these now.

2. What is one item you won't leave home without. (Purse and license do not count.)

I don't carry a purse, so can I trade that back in for two things: glasses and chapstick. OK, I don't always take my license either, so I'll have my phone in trade for that

3. Where is one place you never tire of visiting?

Short-term: my bathtub. Longer-term: London, specifically the area bounded by St. Pancras, Euston and the British Museum.

4. Share one factoid of your family's history.

My grandparents homesteaded. Technically, so did my dad, but they left when he was still a pre-schooler.

"...tolerated Teh Stoopud better." OK, that's a stretch: I was a kid the last time I had a longer fuse.

6. If you could win a one year's supply of anything, what would it be?

Money. And I want George Bush's year, not mine.

Penny candy.

Stop eating because I'm angry or tired or sad.

The end of the school year. It's been a rough few weeks, with no real break that I can see till June 4.
