Patrick's Place

Saturday 6

1. Do you have towels, toilet lid covers, carpet and a shower curtain that all match, or are your colors more random?
I absolutely hate having everything match in any room. It looks uncreative and boring to me. We have a lighthouse "theme" in our bedroom/bath, but the bathmat is just a big dark blue mat, while the other rug, the shower rungs, and the shower curtain are all lighthouse-y. We have an Ikea print (of a lighthouse) on the wall, and another small watercolor of the harbor in Ydra next to the sink. The walls are currently Builder White, but will be painted this year, probably pale blue. Towels are dark blue. No toilet covers. Yuck.
2. What flavor of toothpaste do you use most often? How long have you used this flavor?
I think we have regular Crest now, which is pretty normal. Occasionally we venture into Colgate-land, and I have a tube of Sensodyne I use periodically, when necessary. I've used Crest most of my life; it was the only toothpaste we ever had when I was growing up.
3. Do you roll up the toothpaste tube or just squeeze from the middle? What percentage of toothpaste is left in the tube you’re using right now?
Squeeze in the middle, but squoodge up towards the nozzle as we go. I think we're about half-full at the moment.
4. Checking in the medicine cabinet, under the sink, and in the closet, which single bathroom product do you have the biggest supply of?
Uh...? Depends on your definition of "bathroom product." We have a pretty decent supply of pain relievers and OTC meds. The decent-sized stash of TP is in the pantry downstairs; we bring up 3 rolls at a time. I don't know. We are nearly out of Q-tips. Gotta remember that.
5. Take the quiz: What Bathroom Product Are You?
When I took this last spring, I was shampoo, which was a good answer, I guess.
6. How many different kinds of shampoo do you have open in your bathroom now? Do you usually stick with one at a time, or do you vary from several different types day to day?
I normally use the same kind almost every day. We have a couple of other large bottles in the shower, in case I change my mind, and LOADS of hotel-size bottles in the cupboard. In fact, "hotel-size" containers may be the answer to #4, come to think of it.
