1. Without looking it up, how many of the following could you correctly name off the top of your head: your state slogan, your state tree, your state flower, your state bird, your state dog, your state song, your state dance, and your state beverage?

I stand a very good chance of being right about the bird (almost half the states have chosen the cardinal), but otherwise I have no idea. I can tell you most of those for Colorado, though, since that's where I lived when I had to memorize all of these for school.
Aside: when did we start with "state beverages" anyway? And "state dogs"? Are "state foods" and "state rodents" next?

2. Suppose you started your own state: based on your personality, what would you want for your new state's slogan?

3. If you had to choose one kind of animal to represent your state — mammal, fish, reptile, insect…but just one — which would you choose and which specific breed would you select?

If you mean the one in which I currently live, it's definitely a cuckoo. Too bad ours aren't extinct.
For my own state, I think I'll have either a mouse or a terrier.

4. What would be the pick for your state's official drink?

Where I live: corn syrup.
My state: Stoli, tonic, lime twist.

5. Take the quiz: What State Are You?

I was California when I took this. As if, much as I like California, that will happen in my lifetime.

6. Go to Wikipedia and look up that state: what is its slogan and how good of a fit would it be for your new state?

It's "Eureka" which does seem fitting considering how often I misplace (and forget) things.
