Take5 Tuesday

(Link in blogroll)

List…

1. 5 of your favorite recipes, both to cook/bake and eat. I'm not getting into the recipes, but ...
  1. Macaroni & cheese (I have two recipes; they are both excellent, but one is WAAAYYY richer!)
  2. Tiramisu. Only made it once but it was delightful (and a bit complicated).
  3. Mom's oatmeal cookies.
  4. Chili (our "recipe" is phenomenally simple and variable).
  5. Apple crisp.
2. 5 things that have made you laugh lately.
  1. Sparky makes me laugh--sometimes even intentionally!--almost every day.
  2. The guinea pigs did something really funny the other night that busted me up. Furry little clowns--the two stooges.
  3. Amy. Clever like a fox.
  4. The kids in youth group never cease to amuse me, in a good way.
  5. Jon Stewart and Steven Colbert--it's the only way to watch the news. Also, to a lesser extent, Bill Maher.
3. 5 things you would do if you were fearless.
  1. Show up at a F2F T*S*U*G meeting and sit where everyone who came in would see me.
  2. Go to [another continent or someplace in North America] for a month by myself.
  3. Rappel.
  4. Tell several people, F2F, what I really truly think of them once and for all. [Though, truthfully, it isn't--mostly--fear stopping me from doing this, it's prudence and good upbringing.
  5. Get a motorcycle license.
4. 5 things in your bedroom. Aside from the obvious (bed, dressers, etc.):
  1. Quilt rack (draped with clothes)
  2. A wall-sized crossword puzzle (in a box), which was a Christmas present several years ago.
  3. A C-PAP (the link is an example similar to the one we have).
  4. At least two flashlights.
  5. Three clock radios. Only two work, but the other one has a phone.
5. 5 things you can’t replace.
  1. Sparky. He's completely a one-off.
  2. My grandparent's Bibles.
  3. My parents' wedding photos.
  4. People's memories, opinions, and the stupid things I've said/done over the years.
  5. My friends.
