Out to Lunch
1. When you go to a restaurant do you tip better if the waitress is good-looking?
I generally tip based on service. However, if the waiter is cute and flirty without being obnoxious, I might do a little more than normal.2. Have you ever asked anyone to turn off their cellphone in public because it bothered you?
Yes. I do it all the time at work, verbally and nonverbally.3. Is your noon meal called "lunch" or "dinner?"
Lunch. Except on Sundays if I were to ever cook in the middle of the day, it would be dinner. And Thanksgiving is dinner. I think it may have to do with the amount of work, and food, that is involved.4. Do you generally make reservations first?
For lunch? Hell no!5. Do you ask for a booth or a table?
I don't care. I think Beast generally prefers a table.6. Do you ask for a doggie bag?
If I can't finish what I ordered, yes.7. Would you complain to the management if there were children crying nearby?
NO! It's not the management's fault that people can't control their kids!! I have been known to shoot dirty looks at parents. Mostly, though, I don't mind being around crying children. I'd rather be around them crying than running around or screaming.8. Have you ever sent food back?
Yes. Not often, but I've done it.9. Do you find servers singing "Happy Birthday" cute or annoying?
Well, they do have to be asked, so it's really the customers' with whom I should be annoyed, eh? :-) I don't mind if they do it for kids, but I do wonder about fully-grown adults getting this treatment....
