What is something memorable that you experienced as a child or teenager that your children will probably never get to experience?

I really wish Sparky would have had the opportunity to wander around in the mountains as I did when we went to our 'cabin.' I never had to check in, I never had to explain where I was going or exactly where I'd been, and I could be gone all morning or all afternoon. It was wonderful having to make my own adventures and being outside in the mountain air.
