2007 in (meme) review

I did this at my other blog, and decided it would be sort of funky to see what the meme-year looked like.

The idea is to re-post the first and last sentence of each month here. I'm omitting sentences that are written by others (i.e., Blogthings results). Without further ado...

January
The Letter A
Are you agnostic? No.

25. Cartoon Character: Charlie Brown
February
Onesome: Slicing-- your way through the fairways of life? Terrible metaphor, eh? Do you have metaphor or simile that just drives you bonkers when you hear it?
I can't think of anything right now, though there are a lot of sports terms that are just silly.

"I'll always love you, no matter what. I might not like you much sometimes, though."
March
Seems appropriate to start the week with a quiz about crazies [...]:

[Have you ever] [sic] felt better after confessing all your secrets to this survey? ...whatever...
April
Miami or Honolulu? Honolulu, but having been neither place it's mostly a toss-up.

6. The Make-Believe: Name something you wish for.
I wish I could feel as relaxed and contented as I do tonight more often.
May
1. Fiction or non-fiction? Explain:
Yes. I read everything from serial mysteries to biographies to fantasy to "literature" to theology.

Yes, I'm NOT interested in being a pet.
June
1. I wouldn't toss any of the men from CSI (except maybe David and that weird lab guy who makes me want to keep an eye on the door) out of bed!

6. Are you more likely to own an article of jewelry with the quiz result, your birthstone, or neither?
I own a topaz in a necklace, and that's enough topazes for me.
July
Name seven fictional locations (or fictionalized real locations) from TV or movies that you’d like to visit.
Jamie and Claire's farm in North Carolina (from the Diana Gabaldon's series that starts with "Outlander").

Well, now THERE's an image to take to work today! hah
August
1. Are you a Chief or an Indian when it comes to work, working on projects, etc.? Why/how so?
I tend more towards Chief.

Feh...tired of this....
September
. What is an appropriate amount of labour for you? How many days a week would you work if it were your choice?
What I work now is just about perfect: 30-34 hours.

YourTurn: Looking back, what is one choice you’ve made that seems to have changed the direction of your life?
October
... tell me your favorite song from each artist!
Annie Lennox Little Bird (but virtually anything she does is ok by me--I love her voice)

Have you ever been out on Devils Night? No, because (here's a huge hint about my location) I don't live anywhere near Detroit.
November
Onesome: Time is-- your friend? ...or your enemy? It's your call, but how do you feel about "time"? Are you in need of a spare cupful? ...or are you set?
I need some time, but I'd probably kill it so it's better I don't have it.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to playing on the computer, tomorrow my plans include grocery shopping and watching the snow fall and maybe going to Beast's holiday party if it's not too snowy and Sunday, I want to will be shopping in The Big City with several high school kids! I'm clearly, very clearly, insane.

December
Name seven of your least favorite Christmas (or holiday-themed) songs.
1. The 12 Days of Christmas

These things that are pleasin' you can hurt you somehow
