What song has captured your mind lately? I heard Alanis Morissette's "Head Over Feet" yesterday at work, and I can't get it out of my head. Not sure why.
What TV show do you catch regularly? CSI is the one that seems to fit this category best.
What book really has lately engaged you? The Road (Cormac McCarthy)
What movie do you find yourself re-watching? Star Wars Episode III (over and over--not by MY choice! Beast has radar about all the Star Wars movies and will find it on whatever channel it is showing on...constantly). I'm NOT a Star Wars fan.
Has someone in your life become a new and surprising friend? Not particularly recently.
Is there a book/film/piece of music from your childhood you still have? I have a lot of things from my childhood. One that I found today is the copy of Wind in the Willows I received as a gift when I was 7 or 8. I never read it. It's in the "donate" box now (35 years later!).
What is something that is over-rated lately? The Chicago Bears
What is the best kept secret in music you NEED to share? Angelique Kidjo
What comfort food has been important to you of late? cookie dough
What place is your hiding place? My brain, and my computer
Do you collect anything? Dust and s&p sets. Actually, it's now a combined collection: dusty s&p sets!
What is a weekly ritual for you? Sunday pizza delivery from P@ul##'s
What beverage is a daily consumable for you? Diet Dr. Pepper
What store or shop do you frequent the most? Meijer's
Are you a creature of habit? More than I'd like to be.
What is your favorite animal? I wish I could say dogs, because I do love them in spite of making me sick.... I'll have to go with guinea pigs, with reservations.
Who is your favorite actress/actor? Glenn Close, Emma Thompson, Ralph Fiennes... The list that never ends, and rarely matches the last one.
Are you obsessed with pink? Only with removing it from the planet. No, not really, but it is only slightly above pea-soup/baby-poop green on my list of least-favorite colors.
