If you could have a romance with any fictional character, who would it be?

Hmmm. Jamie Fraser would have to top that list, though I'm not so sure he does romance, and I know if Claire were around she'd be likely to skin me for thinking it! And I wouldn't turn down Jane Eyre's Rochester, either.

I wouldn't want anything too permanent with either however. Living with The Tortured Hero would be hell on earth! For permanent, give me Robert Parker's Spenser, please.

If you could be invisible for one hour, where would you go and what would you do?

In many respects, I've become socially invisible already. It's kind of nice: freedom to stare and glare without anyone really noticing. If I were totally invisible for such a brief period, I'm afraid I wouldn't use the time well. I'd probably end up pranking people. I might listen in on a couple of conversations between certain specific people. I duuno. (No, I wouldn't rob a bank, spy on naked people, etc. Really, that's not my thing.)

If you could ask God any single question, what would it be?

Why do babies and children suffer? What is the purpose of that?
