You've Got Talent
1. What do you consider to be your strongest talent?
Feeling sorry for myself? Being cranky? Making (usually incorrect) assumptions? Giving everyone the benefit of the doubt way too many times? (I'm getting better at this) ...2. Do you have any other talents that you're particularly fond of?
I'm going to go with trying to calm stormy emotional waters.
I'm good at planning projects (I don't always carry through on doing them, but I plan good!). I can keep track of four conversations at once. I like a good joke, as long as it's not mean (i.e., Sarah Silverman does not make me laugh). I can carry a tune without too big of a bucket, most days. I'm not stupid, though at times that's debatable.3. Describe one talent you wish you possessed?
The ability to shrug of worry.4. How do you display or make use of your talents?
Huh? I use them as necessary. I think it's too early on a Saturday to follow this. At this stage of my life, I don't feel as if I do a lot of displaying of my talents. I'm mostly just trying to get through the days.5. What do you think drives so many people to watch and/or participate in talent shows and competitions?
Narcissism? A deep need for applause? Emotional immaturity? And even occasionally the real NEED to show people that they're GOOD, but that's pretty rare, in my experience.
